The comparison table of joomla templates in October 2011

We are using YSlow application and Fire Fox 6

Talking about the comparison of template of those companies: Yootheme with Cloud, Rockettheme with Momentum, JoomlArt with Erio, Shape5 with Hexicon Gamer, YouJoomla with YouFact , JoomlaXTC with Aventa and Gavick with Boutique.

 Base on the estimation of YSlow

You can see that Cloud (Yootheme), Momentum (Rockettheme) and Erio (JoomlArt) gets the highest core with C. On the other hand, others are D.

 Overview

The one which has most total components is Cloud (Yootheme) with 531 components, so it is the heaviest: 2726.9K. Boutique (Gavick) has least total components, just 61componenst and Erio (JoomlArt) is the lightest one, about 649.5K.Erio (JoomlArt) has 33 components and Cloud (Yootheme) has 3. The size of CSS of Erio (JoomlArt) is the biggest one: 249.5K, and the least is Aventa (JoomlaXTC) – 118.7K. Besides, Aventa (JoomlaXTC) has the smallest size of JS with 122.8K and is the biggest one in this field is Boutique (Gavick) with 759.6K. About the JS components: the most is Hexicon Gamer (Shape5) with 22 components and the least is Momentum (Yootheme) with just 4 components .

 About the CSS Image

Cloud (Yootheme) has the most components: 476 components and is the heaviest with 3723.5K, while Boutique (Gavick) is the least with 12 components and 33.1K.

 How about networking?

For the 1st and 2nd test, the template which loads fastest is . Cloud (Yootheme) and inverse, the slowest is Hexicon Gamer (Shape5) and Aventa (JoomlaXTC). But, on the last time, the slowest is Boutique (Gavick) and the fastest is Erio (JoomlArt)
